The Ancrononda

Part 2

Narnrian

Spyro, Sadiki, Rainbowria, Rainbow Spyro, and I left the islands of the Dream Weavers world. As we flew, the clouds and colors of the sky changed into pink and blue. High cliffs and Arabian-looking buildings came into view. The cliffs were a pinkish-purple with blankets of green grass over the tops.

We all landed on an outstretched cliff. Ahead of us was a tunnel with blue walls and small pools of water in between areas of the flooring.

When we came to the end of the tunnel, there was a large room. It was royally decorated with red, blue, and yellow designs. A tall dragon with a long face, a long neck, a thin body, and short legs stopped us.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"We are merely visitors on a very important mission. We are here to collect the newcomers," Sadiki explained.

"Very well, you may pass," the dragon said, letting us through.

We passed over a bridge and ahead were two paths leading to the top of a large clearing. There was another path on the clearing that led upward to another smaller clearing. On the clearing was a portal. On the path leading to the portal were flashing yellow arrows.

"What’s with the flashing arrows?" I asked when we reached the large clearing.

"Those arrows are supercharge arrows. When you charge along with them you can begin a supercharge," Sadiki informed.

"Cool!" I shouted, "Can I try it?!"

"Sure, go ahead."

I ran to the top of the supercharge and crouched down. I could see ahead of me yet another tunnel that curved sharply. I gulped hard. I didn’t want to hit a wall going at 100 mph.

I started to charge over the arrows, feeling a shock of energy and power run through me. I was charging so fast that I had no idea where I was going. When I finally stopped I ended up going through a portal.

GREAT JOB, NARNRIAN I thought. It wasn’t that bad though. Going through a portal was a blast. Of course, I had never done it before. Where I live, we never had portals. When you go through portals you don’t have to work at flying, you just glide. When I got to where the portal went, a fairy stopped me.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"I am Narnrian, a newcomer."

"Well, do you want me to escort you back to the Magic Crafters homeworld or would you rather try out the flying course?" asked the fairy.

"I think it’d be wise for me to go back," I said.

"Very well."

Suddenly there was a flash of bright light everywhere. I had a bad feeling about it. When the light disappeared, I saw the fairy looking worried.

"Oh shoot! This is not good!" I heard the fairy cry.

"What happened?" I exclaimed, worried.

"I’m afraid the portal back to the homeworld has just shut off. It’d take days to get it back up."

"Dang! Well, there’s not much to do now." I said.

I turned around. I saw the flying course. I decided I’d try it out. There wasn’t much I could do anyway.
