The Ancrononda

Part 1

Rainbowria

After hearing the news about a new enemy in a new place, I became fearful. I didn’t want to fight a powerful enemy. I wondered what I was going to do.

Spyro, the dragon I landed on top of when I arrived in the Beast Makers, looked sort of like the Rainbow Spyro at home. He is definitely younger than Rainbow Spyro(or R. Spyro). R. Spyro has fiery designs on his wings. Beast Maker Spyro has red wings. Other than that, you’d think they were twins, except for the fact that R. Spyro is older. Both Spyros are purple with orange-yellow horns and spikes.

I, however, am very different from the new dragons. I am white with brown spikes. I have rainbow wings and horns.

The other newcomer, Narnrian, is green, has purple wings, hot pink spikes and orange horns.

Spyro’s father, Sadiki, is a yellow-orange color with red spikes and horns, and purple wings.

Sadiki lead us to the edge of a dock that had fungus growing on it. It squeaked and moaned as we walked on. Sadiki signaled for us to begin flying. When we all were in the air, we formed a V shape like the birds do and flew into the green-black sky.

After 20 minutes or so the swamp stopped and poured into oblivion. The sky cleared into pink, purple, blue, and light green colors. It looked like the sky at home. Small islands floating about in the sky like ice cubes on top of a soda came into view. They had rivers and waterfalls falling about them and blankets of flowing green grass covered the top of them. There was a huge island on which we landed that had a beautiful castle on it, and portals to different realms. Sadiki told us to wait for him in the castle. I assumed he went to talk to the dragons living in this world.

"So, where is this?" I asked Spyro.

"This is the Dream Weavers world. The dragons here make sure no dragons have bad dreams, and if they do, they will fix it. They also create fairies and other magical creatures." Spyro answered.

" In the world I live in we magically create portals, and even the sky. I can do a bit of it myself, actually," I told, as I wove my hands in the air, creating a rainbow.

"Cool," Narnrian expressed.

"You can make stuff, can you do anything else?" Spyro asked.

"Yes, do you see that island over there, Spyro?" I asked, pointing out the castle window to a large island that had many hills on it.

I outstretched my arm towards the island and moved my hand downward. As I did so, the hills on the island sank down and it was perfectly flat.

"Whoa!" Narnrian yelled," That’s unreal!"

"How do you do that?" Spyro asked.

"I don’t know. It’s a power I have that no one else can explain. No one else can do it," I said.

Just then Sadiki walked in with Rainbow Spyro. Rainbow Spyro looked confused and had no idea what was going on.

Spyro

"Who’s that?" I asked looking at the new comer.

"This is Rainbow Spyro, son," Sadiki told me. That, I thought was weird. He was older than me and his wings were rainbows and on the flaps they were decorated like fire. Other than his wings, he looked kind of like me.

"Rainbow Spyro is my friend. A best friend, actually," Rainbowria responded.

"So you two know each other?" Narnrian asked.

"Yeperoodles!" Rainbowria answered.

"I know I’m in a different set of worlds and I know about the legend. I’ve even heard it myself from others in my homeworld." Rainbow Spyro said.

Suddenly, we all heard an explosion coming from outside the castle. We all ran outside, looking around for the place where the boom came from. We saw in the distance a dragon destroying land and hurting the inhabitants.

I flapped my wings and flew over to the "maddened" dragon. I tried to hold him down but he was too strong, and he threw me down hard. It felt like I was hit by a hammer.

Rainbowria flew over to me and helped me up. The dragon was just about to crush us when Rainbow Spyro went behind him and hit him hard. Narnrian landed on top of the ‘maddened’ dragon and grabbed his head. Narnrian’s hands lit up and the dragon fell to the ground.

"Well," Narnrian said, "that was easy!"

"Easy for you to say," I said, looking at Narnrian harshly, "How come all of these newcomers have powers and we don’t?"

"That’s a great question." Rainbowria said, "I wish I knew the answer!"

"Our world, Spyro, has its own kind of magic. We ourselves don’t contain powers but we do use our environment and magical spells to create things." Sadiki told me.

"Who’s Spyro? I thought I was Spyro!" Rainbow Spyro said, confused.

"Didn’t we tell you? You are Rainbow Spyro, right? Well the Spyro here is him." Rainbowria said, pointing at me.

"Oh, OK," said Rainbow Spyro.

"Well, we better get going and see if there are any other visitors," Sadiki directed.

"Sadiki," a Dream Weaver said, "We’ve got news. There are visitors in the Magic Crafters, but none any where else. I advise you go there."

We all began flying again, and flew in the direction of the Magic Crafters world.
